About Yellow Bridge Therapy Center

Yellow Bridge Therapy Center is a family-owned and independently operated private practice.

We believe that everyone faces challenges that can affect their mental health, and we’re here to support you through them. Our approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including the Think-Feel-Behave Cycle, which helps you understand how your thoughts influence feelings, feelings impact behaviors, and behaviors shape how you engage with the world.

In addition to CBT, we specialize in trauma-focused therapies, particularly EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and parts work, to help you process past experiences and move toward healing. These evidence-based methods allow us to work through deep-rooted trauma, empowering you to break negative patterns and achieve lasting change

My Story

About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor with over ten years of experience working with adults and young adults in outpatient, school, and residential settings. My passion lies in supporting clients in both individual and group therapy, as each offers unique benefits for personal growth and development.

My journey into mental health began after experiencing a profound loss when my father died by suicide. That event ignited my desire to better understand the complexities of the mind and to help others navigate their mental health challenges. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to this field, gaining invaluable experience across various settings.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Fort Valley State University and a Master's degree from Capella University, and I continue to pursue ways to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those I serve.

"Where you stand determines what you see and what you do not see; it determines also the angle you see it from; a change in where you stand, changes everything"
